kamaponI’ve been banned from DeviantArt. Why?
Because they say I submit pornographic material.
And I say, sirs, that I always label every minimum thing that can offence whoever watches as “mature contents” because I didn’t want this to happen.
Of course I sent, not one but three inquiries and I’m waiting for the answer.

Y yo digo, señores, que siempre pongo la etiqueta de “ contenidos para adultos” a cada cosa que hago, por mínima que sea por si hay algún mojigato mirando.

Date: 2006-05-10 03:09 pm (UTC)Personally, I think they're full of it. They banned one of my best friends for the same reason--and the most suggestive piece of art she had up was of an angel in a tattered cloth that covered all the important stuff, sitting on the ground forlorn.
Likewise to another of my friends. He got banned for stealing art, when every piece he had was his own, and I can prove it, seeing that I saw him draw all of it during lunch at school. He sent his inquiries, and I sent one in his defense...and he still doesn't have his account back.
In closing...DevArt is a bunch of fools.

Date: 2006-05-10 03:24 pm (UTC)Yeah...it's just sad. He had...dozens of pieces up there, most of which were brilliant, and a few of which he drew specifically for me...I think he ended up making a second account under an assumned name for newer art, which hasn't been hit yet, thankfully.
Oh! And then Megan's account got banned for...I'm pretty sure hers was pronographic content, as well. But she probably had it. XD Anyway, I know she's still fighting, too, and she might have given up. That was at least 2 years ago, back in high school.

There's got to be a way to get your account back, but really, I hate DevArt for this very reason. I think I was banned from FA because of someone flagging a story I had (G-rated, at that) for something or other, and I just didn't care to fight, but I sometimes wish I would have.

A mí hace poco en Photobucket me censuraron una imagen. Era la portada de un libro donde se veía un maniquí sin ropa, y según se viera de rápido o echando ojo de cerca, podía parecer una tía o no. Tienen la norma de no desnudos, y la comprendo, pero no supuse aquello como desnudo... eso sí, ya me lo he aprendido... y por lo menos no me chaparon la cuenta, se cargaron sólo esa imagen. Creo que deberían dar antes avisos por mail o algo, pero supongo que les supone mucha burocracia y blablabla... ya sabes.
