tenten_samurai and I went last Saturday to watch the film....First of all
OMG! BUCKET!
XDDD
I had a nice time despite of having no sense, why? because of the bucket, OF COURSE! Picture me laughing out loud and hard, tears and all and that's me <3 As soon as I saw the feet take I bursted in laughs....
As I'm divided I'll split this in two:
Good things
BARBOSSA!.....I do belileve in pirates, I do, I do. He's the main chara for me in this third part, honestly. Geoffrey Rush, you RULE the piratry.
The Crabstone....there should be a toy for this, as a Transformer, it could be a stone, or a crab, on your choice. So cute!!
Shooting and Photography. When the Black Pearl is sailing the dunes, when the Endeavour is being blown up, the oniric (thanks to marihuana, perhaps), plain and white world in Davy's world. The sea whirl.....I loved it and their costumes too.
Last part of the film and reminiscences of the first film, in where the plot was nice an simple, when the story was lineal and no time was wasted in absurd inner plots that affected not to the main one (Ahem cannibals in "Dead's man Chest" ahem Calypso in "the World's End").
Raggeti.....he's cute he's love and....did I say he's cute? He's ugly as hell, but he's so childish and innocent that he makes you awwwwwww all the time.

Bad things
Virtually the whole film XDD Really. Starting with Calypso...so clearly stuck in Dalma's body (not to forget her pass from Muse to Goddess in half a second, yay for hollywood's culture), the peanut......¬¬uuu
the "good Jack, Bad Jack" thing, along with the Multi Jack scenes....
ELIZABETH!....dear God, let somebody kill her!!! (I was expecting somebody to slap her in Singapour (not only for being a woman, but also for talking to a man, in public, looking at him in the eye and rising her voice), I was expecting someone to rape her in the Pirates' Council....but to be King.....man. When someone said "King of the Pirates" I was also expecting to see Luffy somewhere in the background trying to apply for the titleXDDD (I might do a photomanip of thatXD). We even had the fishmen as in One piece!!!
Will's lack of....well, everything. Not that I like Orlando Bloom that much, but he's nobody in this film, absolutely NO-BO-DY....and of course I'm pointing out his lack of imagination....
Once in 10 years?....you could use a bucket *AHEEM* on the beach, or a bathtub, or build a house on a platform on the sea....unless he REALLY wants to wait 10 years to see Elisabeth (he's not to blame, honestly).
The poor poor Giant Squid called Kraken here (we all know he was the grat grand father of the Hogwarts' one...), left alone in a desert island (YOHO!) to wipe and die....WHY ISN'T ANYBODY CARING ABOUT THAT? (Only Davy Jones cared a bit, it was his pet, anyway), how does a giant kraken die on the beach and does not try to go back to the sea? Was he waving goodbye when the Flying Dutch was leaving him?
Did I mention the Capylso plot?.... Useless and unnecesary....it makes a coplete story line in the middle of the main plot that affects nothing to it.
the repting tentacle! Yay for it!! He was cute but made Davy a little bit more pathetic, if any. Poor Davy (playing Charonte here) was to be feared in film 2, he was the king of the Fishmen, he was cool, he was collected, he was.... an octopus man, after all, and so he's pictured here, as a crybaby, pathetic, the bad guy's (a posh and stupid British brat)pet...and in Spanish he talks weird.... (I had to yell in the cinema, when Dalma touchs him and turns him back to normal for a minute, if he was going to stop talking retarded now, please?).
Norrington....another character used for no purpose. Stupid way to die, stupid role, stupid hair, stupid costume.
Will "Boots"...the new Teletubbie. He needed to be told at least twice whatever you wanted him to know.
Giant Goddess.....hello? brains?
Jack xGoat=OTP..........we all knew he was a bit.... weird, but....
And surely many things I'm skipping that I'm sure you'll remind me with your commentsXDDD
But, despite of all these...I liked it. I was not mad at all when going out of the cinema as I was in film 2. This one was reaaaally bad, but I spent the whole film laughing, what made it bearable, even funny.
I would not recommend you to pay 6,70€ that costs now a ticket here in Madrid, but if you can download it or something, I'd recommend you to see it, specially with friend, so you can enjoy it.
